Financial Aid - Tips for Canadian Students

So for Canadian students, there's the professional lightens of credit that you can get from private banks like RBC or JVC or whatever bank as well as because I'm from Ontario I qualified for OSAP which is the provincial assistance program so every province has their own. so you'd have to look into your own province to find out which one you qualify for I'm with TD bank I got a student line of credit with them and also most Canadian students if you are Canadian and living in Ontario you can apply for OSAP and they a lot of people don't know this but the Canadian government and the Ontario government fund people to go outside of Canada for schooling and a lot of people didn't know that because OSAP is usually associated with Ontario Universities and Colleges.

So what I did was they give about I think a max of $10,000 a term and about $2,000 worth of that is bursaries that you don't have to pay back and about $8,000 is loan but it's a student loan where they they give you a plan to pay back once you finish schooling so it's not like a bangle and where interest starts accumulating right away so it's definitely good to check those outgo on the SU website and apply for the scholarships that you're illegible for apply for all of them they will try to select you for one of them and definitely follow up on the application just to show that you're interested there are also scholarships that are offered by the schools so I'm on a chancellor legacy scholarship and but there are multiple other ones that you can apply for as Canadians as well.
